The concept behind bread and circuses remains relevant today. Governments, corporations, and media often use similar tactics to divert attention from critical issues.

One hand protects the people. The other protects the structure. If the body only had one hand, it would not survive. A body that only looks for wounds bleeds out. A body that only looks for weakness breaks apart. Health comes from coordination, not domination. The real problem is not left or right. The real problem is when the hands forget they belong to the same body.
