Belief Systems and Biases

One hand protects the people. The other protects the structure. If the body only had one hand, it would not survive. A body that only looks for wounds bleeds out. A body that only looks for weakness breaks apart. Health comes from coordination, not domination. The real problem is not left or right. The real problem is when the hands forget they belong to the same body.

Moral immunity refers to the way people defend their moral beliefs by categorising information in a way that shields those beliefs from contradictory evidence. When facts threaten a person’s moral framework, their mind tends to reject or reinterpret those facts to maintain internal consistency. This process is often unconscious and automatic.
